NL Premier/Championship League (PYL)

As of November 2023, NLSA has re-branded the "Premier Youth League". The former "Premier Youth League" will now be known as "NL Premier League" (U13 & up Tier 1) and "Championship League". (U12, U13 & up Tier 2). Both the NL Premier League and the Championship League are operated by the Newfoundland and Labrador Soccer Association (NLSA).  

Teams compete in Divisions such as U12, U13, U15, U17 & U18. These leagues are dedicated to providing players with a player-first mentality that grows skill, training and competition at a higher soccer level. Our program for these leagues closely follows the Canada Soccer Pathway, built around the principles of LTPD, which is designed to give players an optimal soccer experience at every stage by putting their needs front and center. These teams are more selective and foster the best players and teams to compete across the island. By joining our teams, you will not only gain access to top-notch coaching, but you will also have the chance to compete against some of the best talent in the province with opportunities to compete in the Atlantic & National Championships.

Every Fall, we will have open tryouts. We believe that this tryout is a fantastic opportunity for talented young athletes to showcase their skills to potentially earn a spot on our highly competitive team.

If you have been working hard on improving your game or have been waiting for an opportunity to take your skills to the next level, this is the place for you!!! We are specifically looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about soccer and have a strong desire to succeed.
