Metro Registation Opening Soon!!

Jan. 30, 2026

Dear Members,

We are pleased to announce that registration for our Metro League program will be opening soon.

The Metro League is the next step beyond the recreational level, offering a more structured environment focusing on the development of more competitive-minded players. It is a more structured environment for players who are committed to improving their skills and who have a genuine love for the game. This program is designed for players who are ready to challenge themselves, train consistently, and grow within a team-focused setting.

📋 Age Groups & Evaluations

  • U7, U8 and U9 players are separated into balanced teams
  • U10 and U11 groups will have evaluations to create balanced or tiered teams
  • Player evaluations will take place between the last few weeks of March and the first few weeks of April. Evaluations help ensure players are placed in an environment best suited to their current stage of development

? Registration Timeline

  • Priority registration will run from February 1st to February 16th. The priority list is formed by:
    • Current Spurrs Academy players
    • Players who were registered with our Metro teams last season
  • Parents/guardians of players in the priority list will receive an email on February 1st with the password required to register.
  • Once general public registration is open, it will remain open until April 13th or until spots are filled

📊 Expected Available Spots and Teaming Info

Below are the expected registration numbers and structure for each age group:

*If registration exceeds expected numbers, a waitlist will be created. Additional teams may be formed if there are enough players on the waitlist.

📅 Training Schedule & Locations

  • Metro teams will train twice per week:
    • Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays

    • Time: Between 5:00-8:00 PM (60 or 90min sessions)

    • Locations:

      • Rainbow Gully Turf
